How online notarization works
Online notarization is just as legal as signing in person, and it usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Book your session. Choose a time through my online booking link, or call or text me.
- Upload your document. Send it as a PDF before the session. Don’t sign it yet.
- Verify your identity. The platform will ask you to photograph your ID and answer a few identity questions. This is done by a secure third-party service, not by me.
- Join the video call. We meet live on video. I’ll confirm who you are and that you’re signing willingly.
- Sign electronically. You sign on screen, and I complete the notarization with my electronic seal and digital certificate.
- Get your document. You download the finished, notarized document right away.
Good to know
- You must be able to see and hear me clearly, so find a quiet spot with good internet.
- Every session is recorded and securely stored, as Texas law requires.
- Your notarized document can be printed or sent electronically to whoever needs it.
